Faulty or Damaged Products
If you receive a product that is faulty or damaged, please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible:
We will arrange for the item to be collected at no additional charge, or you may be asked to return it to our store or dispose of it responsibly.
If a return is required, a Return Reference Number may be issued. Please ensure this number is clearly displayed on the outer packaging of the return.
Upon assessment, you may choose one of the following options (in accordance with Australian Consumer Law):
Replacement of the item
Refund of the purchase price
Store credit for future purchases
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible. Please retain your receipt, invoice, or proof of purchase for verification.
Change of Mind Returns
If you change your mind about a purchase, Pothhala Bookshop accepts returns under the following conditions:
The item is a standard stock product (not a special or custom order).
You contact our Customer Service team within 14 days of receiving the item.
The item is in original, unused, and resalable condition.
Books must be free from writing, damage, creases, or markings.
Proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or order confirmation) is provided.
A Return Reference Number is obtained and displayed on the outer packaging (not on the product itself).
Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is returned in person to our store.
This Returns & Refunds Policy is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy limits or excludes those rights.
